Drum was typical Drum. Weather was surprisingly great which never happens when we fly up there. Nice and cool at night not too hot in the morning. Our billets didn't have A/C which right now is not a problem. The post has received a lot of updates. They ended up tearing up the Oasis Hot Fuel area because the underground tanks were leaking. That has been a 5 or 6 year project which is almost complete. I was able to get hot gas once there, the rest of the day was hot re-fuel at a field FARP. I'm looking forward to JRTC in July..... Getting us ready for our 2018 deployment to the Stan. Hopefully we don't need to go, its crappy to think that they're scheduling deployments out that far. 13 years of war isn't really acceptable but that's just my opinion.
Flew up there Thursday morning. Flight of 4 hawks. Friday we moved 260ish grunts from the staging area to the drum training area I think area 23? 3 different LZ's 10 hawks and 2Chinooks. The grunts are getting ready to go to Afghanistan. Long day over 5 hours of flying. Flew back as a flight Saturday morning.
yesterday did a fly-over in Stafford Springs for some veteran event then finished the rest of the 2 hours at our training area up at October Mtn. Mass/

The Harley is a '82. its a blast to ride as long as the ride isn't over 2 hours. That seat doesn't provide a lot of cushion. When I used to live off West Lake Dr, Middletown I would store it in the living room when I would go away for the weekend. The hood rats from Meridan would often break into cars/ steal cars from the parking lot.
Anybody have anything exciting for Memorial Day weekend?
I'll look into that HEI thanks for the tip.

The injector has been replaced, and it runs. I'm not convinced that it was without damage, but it does seem to run ok. I guess I will wait for it to blow.

Not a bad deal Jon, except for the lack of A/C part. Another month or two that will be problematic. How often do you fly up there?

Glad to hear it runs Brendon, perhaps you shut it down in time? Are they going to accept liability if it blows up?

In other news, the local dealer is getting really tired of me. My Transit's AC is extremely weak, almost as if it's low on refrigerant. Going in on Thursday to get that looked at. If this keeps up I may have to buy an ESP.

Morning people.

Good to hear that you guys have your rides running.

Back in 82' HD's left you with hands and lower regions numb after a two hour ride. But I also remember thoughts really hot days and then you hit that cool area on a country road. Nothing better.
Memories of eating bug and the wind.

Okay, I got a question. What's up with this:
Brendon, or is it Tom? - CT Chapter Leader
What's up humor?

Looking forward to the holiday weekend. Got a pork loin waiting to be smoked. Cleaned up my "Margarita machine" . Life is good.

Morning out there, going to be a warm one today. Guess I'll mow the lawn this morning.

I am looking at a GPS Garmin RV 760LMT with back up camera. It seems to have everything I am looking for. Truck and camper. Best price I found is E-Bay for $439.99 compared to Amazon at $444.21.

Good morning everyone!

Very interesting on the GPS John. I guess it makes sense, when I was leaving the trucking industry there were truck-specific GPS units that were coming out. It only makes sense that an RV-specific one would follow along.

Good morning everyone!

Got a new GOV yesterday. They traded out a Focus for this guy:

2016 F350 CCLB. Delivered to us with about 100 miles on it. Appears to have 4.30 gears, turns about 2,000 RPMs at 60 MPH.

No kidding Greg! We were talking about the same thing at work. At some point each company is getting an event trailer with stuff to set up at different events. I think this is to pull that trailer whenever we get it.

But for the moment it's being used like the Focus we traded. I'd prefer the Focus for what we do.
