This morning I went to the parts-a-rama swap meet in Canfield Ohio. While I was there I scored a new Ford Oval emblem for the tailgate of Black Betty, since the O.E. one is delaminating. And also a 2011 Ford F150 wiring diagrams shop manual, among other parts for my other older trucks.

Is canfield still a big swap meet?

 

Yes it is. I'm also planning on a trip to the Randolph swap meet in June. I haven't been to that one in 20+ years.

You mean Raindolph. I used to go there and it always rained. It was 1 of the biggest around here.I remember walking there for hours.

Nice score on the emblem and book! The emblem on my 2011 was fading, and the "chrome" looked bad.

 

Funny you call it that. Each time I went there it was either rainy or HOT as He**. But I always had a blast.

 

Thanks Blue and Maytag. No, my truck does NOT have the camera. But I do have the tailgate step and love it. FWIW the guy that I got the emblem from is at every Canfield show. If anyone is interested in having me get them one just shoot me a Pm. Then I'll let you know how much they are.

 

Nice finds! I really like the way the newer trucks integrate the tailgate step now with the handle IN the tailgate! They should have done that from the start.

 

I love mine. It was on the truck that I picked out a option that should be standard.
