302 oil pans that clear a 4wd crossmember?

Doing a 4wd crossmember swap into a 2wd 79 f150 with a 302. Appears to have front sump pan. Just occurred to me that the 460's generally require the hump sump or rear sump pans when swapped to 4wd. The 302 pan is a lot smaller. Any input?

Research suggests that all the 70's applications had front sump pans and all 80's applications had the rear or hump sump pans. Of course that doesn't help since the 302 was 2wd only until 1980.

I'm sure someone is running a 302 or Windsor in their 4wd?

I'm running a rear sump set up in my 4wd with 351w. I have seen a couple F250 4wds with front sumps but there's only about a half inch of clearance between the crossmember and oil pan

I don't recall if this is a rear sump pan or not.

C6TZ-6675-D .. Oil Pan / Obsolete

1966/68 Bronco 289 / 1969/77 Bronco 302.

All 1975/79 Econolines have rear sump pans: 300 I-6 / 302 (1979 E100/150 only) / 351W / 460.

There is some useful information there, but has anyone experience with any of these in a 4wd 73-79?
