What Front Sway Bar Bushings do you use?

I recently noticed that the front sway bar bushings (the red ones the po claimed to have replaced just before I bought the Ex about one year ago) seem to be worn past their useful life. I can easily slide the sway bar right and left with just one hand. And there are wear marks on the bar from the rubber wearing down.

So as the title says, what front sway bar bushings have you/are you currently using, on your Ex? How long have they lasted? Do they grip the sway bar tightly so it can't slide right to left? Are they noisy?

Thanks!
Didi

I drive very rough roads and so far:

Tried moog and they lasted 7 months and were completely shot

Have Energy polyurethane in now and we will see how long they last. Make sure the swaybar links aren't shot either.

I have energy bushings with moog links right now and its very quiet, no rattles or clunks. Time will tell how long they last but I feel your daily road conditions will play a factor.

So far that's one for the Ford, one for the Moog and one for the Energy. Not conclusive enough yet, lol. Yeah, the local roads in NYC are terrible. At least the ones on my commute are. It's amazing how a city this big could be so bad at basic maintenance of roads.

This. I had the blue Moogs on mine and they went away in a year. Yes, they fit tight, if you use the grease, they wont make noise. Measure your sway bar to get the correct ones. I have the larger F series bar on mine.

Yup, and it was still there. The bushings went bad. In my mind, just too soft for a big heavy truck.

That's odd that mine are still tight. Perhaps Moog does have some offshore quality control issues.

What Front Sway Bar Bushings do you use?

Is Moog the only brand that makes blue bushings? Dropped the Ex off at the shop today for inspection and oil change, I had them do the bushings too and they're blue. Didn't get a chance to ask what brand they used. It's noticeably quieter on bumps now but I still have the creak from the drivers front body mount. I think that's my last squek/creak to get rid of.
