Engine Mount Access

Engine Mount Access
I am replacing the engine mounts on my 1992 E-150 5.8L Automatic.
Anyone clue me in as to how to reach the front mount-to-block bolts?
Driver's side looks possible once the oil filter is removed- passenger side looks scary.
Also, does the air intake plenum need to be removed for clearance when raising the engine? What about the transmission dipstick/filler tube and the fan shroud?
This has not been a good day...

the 88 302 E-150 I had did not have enough room to do anything without pulling the upper intake. Luckily, it is not that bad, once the doghouse is removed.
For the fan shroud, take a few extra minutes and pull the radiator and shroud. Leave the AC condenser but hang a slab of cardboard over it to prevent dings. It is amazing how much room that provides. jim

It like getting dressed in a phone booth -- only Superman can do it.
