Lowering a 1970 f100
Can any of you offer any advice? In lowering a f100 what is the best option?
1) installing a crown Vic front suspension?
2) installing a mustang ll front suspension?
3) using the existing twin I beam and cutting the springs?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If you're going to use beams, the DJM drop beams are probably best for this. 3" drop in front, 4" inch drop in the rear.
The '03-2011 CV swap will drop the truck approx. 6". Then, you have to contend with what you'll do with the rear end --wrong wheel stud pattern (5 x 5.5"). CV wheel stud pattern is 5 x 4.5".

The "best" option is what you decide on for your skill and budget level.
