What to do about the e4od

Hey guys, so I have a 1997 f250 2wd with 150k miles and it needs a new Tranny (shocker). I'm looking into getting it replaced but with my truck being chipped, having a cold air intake and an aftermarket exhaust, should I even bother putting a stock e4od back in when it clearly seems like it can't handle the torque or horse power, or would it be cheaper to swap something else in?

Do you pull anything heavy? I do and burned up two of them but this last one is a bullet proof John Woods trans. It doesn't sound like you have to many mods so I guess it just depends on your right foot.

No I don't pull anything heavy, but in the future I want to put baby swampers in, would the e4od handle that?

If you don't tow heavy or hot rod your truck a good rebuild with a triple disk converter and a bts or racer x valve body will do wonders
