This deal doesn't make much sense for me financially but I see the sixteens as the last of the last. I'm not a fan of the next generation nor could afford em.
Not trying to hi-jack the thread, but is there a reason you need dual rear wheels ?

I bought mine because I did not trust single rear wheels with an 11 foot high slide in camper and a 7,000 lbs. enclosed trailer out back

Spend a few minute on cargurus etc it seems the drws are plagued with the 3.73s nationwide just like the 250s and SRW 350s.
Allmack to answer your question no I don't need a dually at all and the biggest (only) thing I tow is a 24 ft pontoon boat.....
I could do the deal right now but it doesn't make any sense and they would kill me on my trade in.
Mr Denny my apologies for getting all over your thread I should have started a new one. Thanks

I will add that the DRW is just about ready to come out of storage and start pulling it's load agian just a trip to the body shop Monday to remove a dent in ther hood and me finishing cleaning it up and it's ready to go.

Denny - what's the heaviest trailer you've towed with the 6.2 and how far? How did it do?

I may be looking at a '17 but would still need to be able to hook up to my fiver now and again. It's 18+k and an easy tow for my 6.7...

Our trailer loaded on the road is 16K, ours has 29K on it and a good 21K of that is pulling. It's been all over the country and a few high 11K + passes in Colorado. Last time I weighed we grossed at 24400. On big grades it's not the fastest thing on the road but it gets the job done, we live in our trailer on average 8 months out of the year. On the flat ground it cruises down the road in 6th most of the time with 4.30 gears.

Thanks Denny...
This CC-DRW is just too doggoned big for regular use so we are thinking about a short bed CC SRW, but the upcharge for the diesel and extended warranty is a choker...

I had CC LB work trucks but they were SRW and not DRW and I don't like the extra length that's why I use SC trucks to pull our trailer. Makes it a little easier to back the trailer and they don't hang out as far in parking lots but for how we use our truck the long box is a must so we sacrifice the cab room, it's also just us two and two small dogs.
