31" on stock 89 e-150 will they fit?!

Came across a great deal on a set of 31x10.5x15 lt and I know it will be close but was wondering if any on has any experience trying to stuff tires under their old stock rig. I know some cutting of the bumper and fender might be in order. I was also wondering if the issue or clearance could be solved with a small wheel spacer? I know the track is already pretty wide but any imput on my dilemma would be seriously appreciated. I'm also looking into ways of raising the front just an inch or so and was thinking that should be just enough room.

I had 31s on my '85, no rubbing or trimming. They were on 15x7 Centerline wheels and were tucked in pretty good.
