My 2000 excursion 12v nv4500
#19
For hydralaulics I used a zf6 master, a nv4500 slave, took the end off the ford line for the zf6 master, and the end off the dodge line for the nv4500 slave, and had a custom stainless braided line made for it. works perfect and leaves you with two off the shelf parts
Almost the same as how I did mine except I used a jeep slave which is pretty much identical to the dodge one but with a bleeder screw.
Just fyi, you can buy these guys here and then just use an off the shelf pre-made -3 AN line to connect the master/slave. Russell Clutch Adapter Fittings 640281 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing
Do you have any issue with the line from the master to the reservoir rubbing on the fuse box?
Truck looks good btw except for the previously mentioned wheels/tires haha. That industrial manifold definitely cleans up the engine bay a lot. I used my stocker and flipped it over for clearance.

Thanks!
Thankyou! i built the 2 obs trucks in the pictures
green one is my 97 and grey one is the 84
still waiting on my lines to be made
Im 12Vexcursion over on 1stGen i know your build
picked your brain a few times. I decided on the dodge slave and am happy and only reason i didnt make my own line like you is i needed it asap and they did it in 25 min
no issues with my line
im glad i went the industrial manifold route, not that yours looks bad i just dont like how high it puts the turbo
and thanks. im not the only one that likes the wheel and tire setup and i think it turned out as a good package for this truck.
no need for the few to bash the wheel and tire setup, im not on some lame spacers and my tires arent stretched, i dont think any other setup would have fit the whole truck any better, its a mean truck and the power is awesome

Very nice build
I have a few questions as I am gathering parts for a similar swap. Mines a 2005 V10 excursion 4x4.
Did you swap to a diesel radiator or use the V10?
Power stroke intercooler or another type?
What is you cooling fan setup cummins Mech with 6.0 fan, electric, etc?
Did you adapt cruise control?
Which tach kit did you use?
Coolant hoses, did you use a kit or make splices a mixture of parts?
I like how clean your build is and that you kept over the counter parts such as your clutch slave
Thank you for your time
