Ok I'll kick things off with a slide out rack to take one of my bikes.

Then inside we removed the jack knife sofa & the dinette & replaced them with some more comfortable furniture from local stores, saved some weight too.

Thanks, it takes around 10 minutes to fit the chequer plate & another 10 minutes to load the bike, although I haven't actually taken a bike with us yet, didn't see the point when we toured for a bit in the winter, but now that warmer weather is coming it should see some action this summer!

The only thing I have done is labeled some switches. Now if I can reverse the label so it is white letters on black vs black on white.

And after hearing the horror stories of connecting the city water connection to the flush, I painted the cap black.

Here are some of my mods
Added pull outs to the pantry, awning lights, flag holder, reels for water and power, screen protector and TV in the basement. Not pictured I have added a WiFi antenna to the top of the ladder replaced the too short stinky slinky tube with the fence post mod and a computer for all of my movies

Mods......Montana FW

I have modified the tail lights on the Montana FW......
The standard tail lights are cheap incandescent fixtures from the 1900's.......

I added LED tail lamps.....I put them higher. Between the two lamps on each side, I would hope people will see me.

added light in the battery compartment

Switch on the door frame to turn light on - off.

There is the stock storage tube along side the frame........
Then I added a longer tube that is under the frame. goes the entire width under the trailer.

The new Storage Tube is adjustable in length.

IF the weather ever gets to a point that I can work on our 5er without interruption, I have a workbench covered with 'things':

- Wet bolt kit (MORryde/Dexter)
- MORryde X-Factor suspension brace kits (3 of them)
- New 9/16" U bolts replacing the 1/2" (etrailer.com ) and a 1" tall aluminum stock homemade 'lift kit'
- ARP Norcold Fridge protector system (https://www.arprv.com/)
- LED taillights (same as Roy's) and LED bulbs (Superbright.com) for the existing taillight assemblies
- Back up camera (AMAZON low end but may swap to the Garmin matching the GPS)

Probably more, but these are the bigger ones.

Mods......Montana FW

More lighting mods.....improvements........

Big LED light in the Battery Compartment.....controlled by switch on the door.

LED lights in the 2 Propane compartments.....door switch......

LED lights in/on the forward overhang........controlled by the switch on the factor light near the door of the battery compartment.
(BTW: That light is going to get a duplicate on the opposite side of the front panel.....ignore the blue lense....I was messing around.)

Also added a fused 30A terminal for power connections in that area of the FW.

Light OFF

Battery Compartment

Note: 2 of the LED Puck lights could not be recessed.....Structure in the way.
