Seatbelt for Child Seat

Seatbelt for Child Seat
Hello FTE Friends,
Anyone have experience with seat-belts for a car seat in your Classic? Sebastian and I love to go cruising for chics - he's quite the ladies man - and I want him to learn to be a law abiding citizen at a young age... not to mention I'd like to keep him as safe as possible!
Where would the seatbelt attach on the cab?
I was looking at seatbeltplus.com site as a point of reference - possibly purchase. Just would like your input please.
Kindly,
Paul & Sebastian

Wow, is he growing up fast or what. It won't be long B4 He's using the truck for dates. I cant answer your question as my boy is 37 now and the laws have changed a lot since he was in a car seat, but I'm sure someone else will. Whatever it takes to have very sturdy anchoring points that allow for the proper mounting procedure is what I would shoot for, even if it meant welding in special framework. That is some extremely precious cargo you have there (and cute too). Take care my friend.

Paul,
I too am of no help. My wife would flip if I tried to be serious about getting my baby girl in the front seat of any vehicle much less my '50. I will follow closely for any good ideas though. She too loves her truck, especially the original horn.

These pictures and comments have made my day.
It's been pretty stressful at work so far, so thanks guys.
Now for the question. Jolly Roger Joe added seatbelts to his truck and has some pictures of his attachments. He even had extensions to make the seatbelts longer. I would think properly attached seatbelts per the manufactures instructions would be good.
It will never be as safe as a newer vehicle with crumple zones in the metal and such.
Let me see if I can locate some of those pictures.

Here is a thread on 3 point belts. I would think you would want Sebastian more centrally located in the seat, so I don't know if this would do it for you. But it's good info.

Sleepless in Central California...
Harrier, thanks for the links. Awesome information... To bad it's oh darn early to go out into the garage and make some noise!
Abe, adorable! I understand about old versus new technology... Your wife and my wife think along the same lines. Practically though, Sebastian is gonna have to learn this concept early in life in order to appreciate the truck. I'm dealing with Mom and pretty much she's on board - GOT LUCKY, AGAIN!! But SAFETY FIRST.
Jim, Youza! Everytime I awaken and look at him he doing something new, stares back at me, smiles... and just melts me to nothing!
I keep reminding myself in this "new" life of mine that God is funny... AS I sit here reminiscing, I remember the countless times I waited for Dad to fall asleep so I could sneak the keys to the 1968 Chevelle SS or the 69 Nova SS and go out for a spin (safely, I was a good boy - except for the lifting of the keys) Now, "as the world turns" I figure it's gonna happen to me. I'd be silly not to think he wouldn't. I don't even know why I went there... but I did.
Maybe I should try and go back to sleep...
Good night FTE friends

Enjoy your young ones they just melt your heart!
I put shoulder belts on my 49 like many others which would work well with a childs seat as well as working well in my seat. The keys are good anchor points, i.e. large load spreading areas on the underside of the floor and a strong plate welded into the cab corners for the 3rd point.
My youngest son, now 44, put many illegal miles on Willard and another car that I also still have.
