Finally, Pictures of my new 55 F-350!

It is solid. Steering is tight, the clutch needs adjusted. Original seat is phenomenal. The bed floor will need some work. I am pleased.
On the return trip we did cut through NY on rte 426 to get to Corry and rte. 6.
It would have been good to meet you.

No one has complained to me and they probably wouldn't to my face. I get along great with my neighbors. Remember I am selling my 70 F350. As a matter of fact it is parked at his shop now since I transferred the license plate and had to get it off the street. So I think people prefer the 55 over the 70.

Geez. That's quite a ride! Super clean. I imagine (could be wrong) that is the original paint? Sure seems to match the original Ford Meadow Green perfectly.
Do you know any history on it? I'm still digging to find the original owners of my truck. It would be neat to pull the old girl into their driveway to say howdy.
PS-Looks like you're missing a lug nut on your front left wheel.

The owners died and their two sons took over the farm. The older son died and the younger son was unmarried and a recluse and ecentric and a hoarder. He sold the farm and all the contents including two trucks, the 55 and a red 52 F1. The PO I bought it from operates a vineyard now and only used the truck sparingly maybe to get a load of fertilizer.
It is not the original paint. It was repainted, not well though, about 5 years ago.

Thanks, Joe. See you in June. My spot is #E99. I plan on driving one of my trucks there. After a 200 mile trip with the F350 , a trip to Carlisle is a piece of cake. Or I may bring my 54. It depends on how much NOS parts I have to sell. If I need more room I'll bring the F350.

An update on my trip. The odometer does not work on my new truck. Speedo works fine as checked by my friend that was driving my car behind me but the odometer does not work. The tenths digit turns but the other digits do not. So I had to figure out the number of miles I drove from fill up to fill up by using map quest with the same exact route I took.
My mpg's was 10.9. The total miles traveled was 197 miles. So 11 mpg's is not bad.

Glad the trip went good Abe! I bet you had a smile on your face the whole way. Any idea which plant he came out of? Just curious if it may be a a long lost Brother of mine! ha ha My 350 came out of the Twin City (St. Paul). Oh, and don't forget to update your signature on FTE!
