That is why posted the pics, so people might have a better understanding of how it worked. Before ordering it, that was my main curiosity.

Well it's done, the leak is fixed, I hope, only went for a 10min test drive. The only issues with putting it on is getting over the fact the old one is in the pan, and some patience lining up the bolt hole when installing the new one. I will say the new adapter sits a lot tighter to the transmission lines and pretty close to the starter when you put it back on. All in all I am happy with it, just would have been more happy spending that money on a new exhaust. Hope this helps anyone else with this leak or debating buying the adapter.
