Bush Removal the Easy Way!

Hi everyone,

Saw this method in a thread in the Super Duty forum. I think it was @MDSuperDuty who posted it, but I'm not certain and I can't find it.

First one:

Third one:

In summary, you position a spare tire directly next to the object you're pulling out of the ground and run the strap over the top of it. As you pull the wheel rotates, which directs the pulling force at a more upward angle. This was my first time trying it, and it worked great!

The quad was loaded for another purpose, but we left it in for added weight. Pretty satisfied with how she did.

Awesome! I'm glad it works. I'll need to try it soon!

The physics would seem to make a big difference. Gotta remember that one.

Want to try my winch with this technique. Just need a rim for the tire I have and would like to try these two things.

Very interesting. Those prices look like a bargain if they last.

Pretty cool. I want to take out an overgrown Azealia bush with the truck. I trim all the overgrowth every year. Since the renter (single mom who really does try) I clean up on their side. However it's another issue as it's on a property line with a renter who's landlord lives overseas. Long story overall. I should have the renter reach out to the landlord for some property line maintenance. These overgrown shrubs tighten up my lower parking area in the summer plus sometimes scratch up the truck if I cut the turn too tight.
