Spent most of the weekend figuring out the psd and it's no start issue but got some stuff done.

Put a 10x10 plate on the tool box area on the bumper.
There will be a bit of a gap. I think I'll add another with an angle cut to make it look good. I'm thinking of putting the batteries on the other side but I'm not sure yet. This would clean it up under the hood and give easy access with some sort of drip out ordeal
Door taken apart
Door hung and body gaps done
Now to pull the mirror handles etc for paint prep

Well got a lot of sanding done but found a ton of bondo on the door. I'm debating on replacing it with a new one or not.

After grinding down the top deep portion. It's a little thick for bondo I may use glass filler or just replace the door not sure yet. may

The whole area

Bondo should Never be over 1/8" thick.

Good used doors are cheap, like $50 cheap

Brad I agree and think that will be the best route. I could use bondo glass which can safely do 1/2 inch thick and will flex more but it will be easier to remount the mirror I think

Don't believe their hype. They say it can be twice as thick as regular filler. Which comes to 1/4" NOT the 1/2" they CLAIM

Ok didn't do any work but got parts. How I love parts. I found a 60. Then the guy mentioned he had dually hibs he can put on that was great. Now to top it off 3.55 gears already. And it's a ball joint 60. So ya the perfect axle for what I was doing. Also got a clean rust free door with no dents. Rad and shroud for the psd cause it was cheap. And a new column with tilt he's gonna take more parts for me and I'll have another trip then.

Pile of parts
Stock hubs I kinda want warn hubs. Anyone have a good used set cheap?
Springs shocks and seat belt will be removed and I'll swap it in on the 250 springs just to see how it sits and get the 44 out of there.
But first cleaning and painting I will also do all new seals bearings etc.

More parts pics coming when I get them out of the truck

Got a lot of frame cleaning done. Also pulled and cleaned the steering box. Finished painting the rear bag brackets and added in gussets. I'm debating on installing the engine and trans first with clutch etc. or to mock them in and get the axle finished before it goes in. I got the whole center cleaned and painted. So once the axle goes in there won't be any center work just new bearings ball joints and u joints which is not hard to do in the truck.

The layer of gunk on the frame under the engine.
Where the steering box was. You can't even see the bolt holes.
Primered paint is going on tomorrow.

Steering box cleaned up and back on.
Steering box bolts
Another Veiw of the box.

Inside drivers frame painted.
Other half

Well didn't get any painting done cause it looked like rain all morning. But got the 60 in. I'm going to rebuild the rest with it in the truck. I need to do a new pinion seal and all the stuff at the outters like ball joints etc but we'll do that closer to when it goes On The road. Forgot to get a pic but the new pass side door is hung and sanded down too

19.5s on the 60
This thing will have a wide track width. I may remove the drw spacers.
Other side. It's on the stock springs as this is only for mock up and to determine what is needed to mount the front bags.
Also put the vent window back together.

Do you know what you'll do with yourself when you're done? The free time will be strange.
