Plugged the CTS tuner into my truck, punched in my vin, was given 3 options for tunes plus guages. Put it on extreme. Have tuner back to friend. Truck now flash tuned.

Why would you do an ic with an e99 spider if you are planning a t4 setup? The t4 will also come with ic pipes to connect the dots...wich brings me to that ic at 300$ is twice what it should be.

I was looking at it because right now I'm looking at supporting mods. $300 didn't seem too steep when i saw that a whole intercooler setup was like $1100, from strictly diesel.

I'm waiting on a few more details on other things with an '08 SD with a damaged motor. If price is right I'll be stealing parts off it.

I just wanted to see what a tune would do to her, think I'm going to put her back to stock. Although she seems to run better, I don't like how hard it shifts.

As for the IC kit it was sinister diesel, my apologies on that. $1,5xx for the kit.

Has anyone ever seen a dually converted to a SRW except it keeps the flares? Thinking of doing it to the truck since I'm not hauling anything. Not sure why except that it might handle a little better off road.

New goals for the truck:
D60 4x4 (either newer axle swap out era appropriate swap)
Flat bed (keep 5th wheel rails, more tool boxes. It's going to be the "rescue rig")
'Move' bumpers (very cool, I suggest looking into them)
Front winch at least
Halogen headlights ($357)
Custom stacks on the flat bed
Off road lights
E-fuel
Trans cooler upgrade
Intercooler
S4xx turbo
238/100 injectors
T-500 Hpop
Exhaust
Maybe a 4" reverse cowl hood
Anything else I'm missing

Someone just posted a picture awhile back of a dually with one hugh wide tire instead of the two tires. It looked pretty cool.

I'm not a fan of the super singles. But that's me.

I remember why I was thinking about it. Because I might buy an '06 SD with a bad motor and take the axles off it

Does anyone know if you can run a non dually hub with like a Dodge or Chevy dually adapter which is the same lug pattern?

Not a big update, but dropped some serious change on new hub/rotor assembly and brake pads because I got tired of the squeak.
