And yet... And yet.. Keith Richards still lives!

I don't get it. Mr. Nelson was an underrated guitarist from all accounts.

Another iconic WWE entertainer is gone, so sad. She was one of my favorites back in the day when we stilled followed the drama.

Oh sorry, I didn't mention Prince. He was never one of my favorites but news of his passing is still sad. He was iconic to many.

He was indeed----apart from knowing and having heard his better known material, seeing him a few times on TV I wasn't much of a fan or follower. His passing is being treated like a national day of mourning---news coverage is wall-to-wall about it all.

Of course there's speculation it was a drug over dose which I hope doesn't prove to be the case. Even though its stereotypical of so many celebrities its sad a human being of any walk goes out that way.

Drug abuse and self-destructive behavior is usually self-limiting but the rich and famous can afford the truck bed full of cocaine and pills and the rest of it no sweat. AA and other treatment programs usually pick people up when they have run out of money. These guys never do. Couple years ago there was a very well known country singer who was found naked wandering around at a gas station trying to get a pack of cigarettes in the middle of the night.

Not a big fan, but I watched part of the Super Bowl performance and some other stuff on You Tube (linked on Face Book you know...everyone has to link stuff) All I can say is there was a lot more to the guy than I ever thought or considered. Gone too early, RIP.

I agree with most -- not my fav, but he had a lot of talent. Too young for sure.

Chyna apparently went down a fair amount after her WWE days. I remember her from Shotgun Sarurday Night -- one of the funniest (if a bit adult oriented)
wrasslin' shows ever.

Keith and Mick -- wow. I'd fear rhat they wanted to eat my brain (tasty tidbit)

Yeah, no kidding. "This just in, Army helicopter is shot down in the Afgan desert, 20 souls on board lost. ISIS takes credit for the downed chopper." You'll see that once and the it's over.

Prince sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time.[4] He won seven Grammy Awards,[5] a Golden Globe Award,[6] and an Academy Award.[7] He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, the first year of his eligibility.[8] Rolling Stone ranked Prince at number 27 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.[9]

Pete Townsend wrote that song, Roger Daltry sang it on the record:

OTOH ain't it interesting how our youthful words come back to us in the later years?
