Yes!..It's the Classic Autowire Update Kit. Was the best decision I made. In fact getting ready to use it again on a 77 I am restoring. The schematics are easy to read, with Zones, the wires are all labeled and they give you most of the connectors. AND if all else fails, you can call their tech support line, they answered every time. You can get these kits for JBG, NPD, LMC or direct from Autowire.

looks good man! I was able to find a NOS harness for my 78. I know most people would rather get the new updated fuse panel etc.....but I don't plan on running any high use accessories etc so Im not too concerned about that.

If I end up running HD lights or fans etc at some point I'll run relays direct from the battery.

But to answer the OP's question I've heard all good things from them

I researched and they are supposed to be the easiest kit to install, and read very good reviews. Last time I checked, summit racing had the lowest price, even over buying them directly from aaw.

AAW kit has the "one wire alternator conversion." how did you gentlemen overcome this? What alternator did you use and how difficult was it?

Self Exciting 105 amp 1 Wire GM Alternator - I ran a two battery system and just ran the charging wire to the battery side of my starting solenoid.
