2008 Lincoln Navigator L Power Running Board Seized Motor

Im sure someone else may have more details but I just had mine apart and without actually doing it myself, and depending on why it was seized I would trying the following:
1. Unplug the motor from the vehicle.
2. Unscrew the three phillips screws holding the motor cover on, be careful not to strip the screw heads.
3. Pull the motor cover off. There are some big magnets in there so pull and twist with as much effort as you can. (this may be very difficult from under the vehicle, or maybe not)
4. If your gears are not stuck, you should be able to turn the motor and it will slowly lower.
If you gears are seized, im not sure what to do?
