My 2008 Lincoln Navigator turned off on me twice when I stopped at a red light. It started shaking really bad then it turned off. I turned it on again then it shook really bad again and turned off for a second time and when I turned it on the second time it took me home without any problems. Used it again today and no problems other than when it's cold and I turn it on it makes this rattling noise on the left side of the engine but once it's warm it doesn't do it as much. I can still feel a little shaking but nothing too noticeable. What can be causing this? Can a worn cam lobe cause this type of problem? Please advise.

yes it was the driverside camshaft solenoid. After changing so many things no one thought of that and that's what it was and it stopped shaking and turning off on me.
