6.0L loss of heat control

Would installing a XDP coolant filter cause loss of cab heat control?

If I set the thermostat to 60 F it cools down but if it is 65 F it is just as hot as max.

Thanks.

Sounds more like an issue with the blender door, or whatever it's called on our trucks.

Check to see if you accidentally damaged or disconnected the vacuum line connecting to the heater core shutoff above the passenger side valve cover.

This is troubling.

Thanks.

Addendum: This truck was mouse infested and was taken to a specialist in vehicle restoration. Maybe they didn't hook something up right in the heating controls? I didn't notice before but the weather has warmed up so its more annoying now.
From your other thread: ^^^

It sounds like something else is going on there. The Coolant Filtration System really wouldn't have any effect on the HVAC controls. I tried to send you a PM but it won't let me. Give us a call at 1-888-DIESEL-4 and we can get you in touch with our Tech Department.

Edit: PM's can't be sent your way for some reason.

The mouse infestation is pertinent info, yes. Odds are good something did not put back in it's rightful place.
