building a 414 stroker for my truck and was thinking about a set of hedman headers. the instruction sheet shows one pipe can either go above OR below the x member. anybody have pics of similar set up/design ?

 

Hell, someone's here got real custom and actually built circular cut out to go straight through the cross member, through a round opening they had welded in. I just jacked my cross member to allow the collector flange to go above. Good luck, look for starter clearance issues as well.

Yea, the huge honking starter housing was pushing on the exhaust. I ended having to get a starter for a 70's mustang. It was an exact fit and a quarter the size.
