2008 Lincoln Navigator problem. It drives really good but when at idle and not all the time it will start shaking really bad and sometimes it turns off. Had the timing chain replaced and oil pump a few days ago, done by my neighbor. He said after he had placed everything back he noticed some wear on the camshaft itself. I think he means th cam lobes, but can this b causing the engine to do this? If so, should I even be driving it?

No problem and no one is trying to run you off. It's just that there might be issues specific to your model year that we're not aware of and they (in the other forum) are.
