how many miles before a suspension, transmission, hpfp, rebuild
As the original owner, I have 139K miles on my f250 xlt crew cab diesel. She tows a 26' travel trailer here in the Colorado Mountains.
The steering is getting loose, and wandering a-bit. I am thinking of a rebuild of the front suspension. The front left wheel always shook the wheel when hitting a mild road bump (expansion joint). I was going to replace with FOMOCO parts. What are your thoughts?
I am still running the original brakes...
When can I expect a tranny rebuild? what should I have done during the rebuild?
When does the high pressure fuel pump go out?

As far as replacements and rebuilds go. Hard to say. Check the ball joints for sloppyness. Keep the tranny fluids changed. When they go they go. The steering. There is a large nut and screw sticking out on top at the front of the box. Loosen the nut and tighten the screw a 1/4 turn at a time. Test drive in between for a day and see. Don't want to over tighten this. Just bring it back to good contact. Tires, I keep at 70 psi all the time. A good steering stabilizer and I have only had the wobble happen to me once. That was when I was running 60psi for a little bit of a smoother ride. Didn't like how the wobble went down. Nasty stuff right there. Like I said never happened again. Keep on trucking and general maintenance.

What year of the truck are we talking about?
Take a crow bar under each front wheel and pry up while watching the suspension. That movement of the joints should tell you if they need attention.
You will have to jack up the wheels high enough off the ground to do that.
Regular service of the driveline will ensure a long life. I'd expect well over 200K on a trans with regular severe duty maint schedule.
