79 F-150 Has cruise and tilt. Pulled steering wheel pulled signal switch to replace. a small say 3/16 x 1" flat bar, spring steel... fell out.... where does it go??? Cannot find reference.

Here is an old tread with a pic of what I am working on... LOOK at PIC in step 5 well that is where it came from.... some where in there... fell on floor when puling back the signal switch...

FOUND IT....

All back together.... gee... does not work!!! great!!! replace a broken part and the world ends.... well back to trouble shooting.... I love my truck!!!! Cranky old thing..... at least my 29 does not have all these parts!!!!
