Check for a blown fusible link?

How do you check for a blown fusible link? My battery is good, connections are good, solenoid is new but truck won't start...no click sound either. Ignition off no headlights either.

The way I have done it is with a test light that will pierce the insulation.
Start at the end close to the power and work your way down it till you get to the main wire.
OR
Check for power close to the end like above and then check for power at the wire.

I have also been able to kind of bend the link to make an arc and if blown it will make a sharp bend where it blew wile the rest of the link is in an arc.

But test light is the way to go.

When a fusable link is blown you will be able to stretch it like a rubber band. Most of the times it will burn a hole in the side of the insulation.
