Ford f150 fog light install

I have a 2005 ford f150 xlt. A very base truck. I'm looking to install fog lights to my truck. But my current stock bumper doesn't have the cutouts but I have found bumpers online. What I am really concerned about is the whole wiring. I have heard some post saying that the wiring is already on the truck just tucked away but I haven't been able to find it. I would also like to know what else will I need to do to get fog lights installed. Thanks in advanced!

I had the driving lights on my 2005 f150. They are actuated by pulling out on the headlight switch when you turn it on, They are only on with the low beam lights. Either you'll wire them in with the low beams or get the correct headlight switch.

Does that mean I would need new wiring altogether?

The wiring is there at the light switch to the fuse panel. I got a replacement switch with the fog light feature (factory) and then ran the heavy lead (for the fog light bulb) out to the fog lights on my light bar. you will need the factory style relay if I remember (this was about 8 years ago lol)

So I'll need a relay, bumper, Fog lights and bulbs and a new headlamp switch? I also noticed my truck is actually the xl model not the xlt does that change anything
