You might get slightly cooler light out of something like a Silverstar, but it will be hardly noticeable to the naked eye. The colored bulbs are terrible... they're about looking cool, not being effective. If you want the pure white to blue look, retrofit to HIDs (aftermarket) or LEDs (HID or aftermarket). DO NOT install an LED bulb in your halogen housing... they aren't compatible, and you'll blind the crap out of oncoming traffic.

Blue lights don't look good and they work poorly. It's amazing how much lighting power is lost to the tint on the lens.
