Use the oil you are running now. It seems to depend on the tranny on the "gear growl" or gear roll over. Some report very loud gear roll over, and others nothing. I have installed at least 5 of the single mass conversions, and only had the gear roll over on 1, and that was in 2ond gear idling around the pasture, and that was in an old IDI 7.3. The folks that have the loud gear noise say to over fill the tranny by a quart or so threw the shifting tower.

I'll second Rockauto for the LUK kit. I usually tend to exhaust all my options for buying online if I do buy online (like Amazon, autoanything, summit etc) and rockauto seemed to have the best prices for clutch kits. Not only that, they had the LUK brand which a lot of people see to like.
I ordered and installed it on my motor, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet so I can't say how it performs. It does seem like a really nice quality though, but I'm not used to diesel clutches, only gas ones before this.
Make sure you don't throw away your throwout bearing that comes with the kit like I did though...... I guess I made it live up to the name throwout bearing. I mean, who needs a bearing that has the name throwout? Just throw it out am I right? (Okay I was pretty pissed when I realized I threw it away today but there wasn't anything I could do but buy a new one.)
