Removing tire marks

So this isn't a ford truck but I figured some of you might have a couple ideas. I've got some nasty tire marks on the side panel of my truck, I've tried scrubbing it off but that didn't work. Does anyone know of something that will remove the rubber without damaging the paint? Truck isn't clear coated, just basic utility paint. It's going in a parade this may and I would love to get it cleaned up

An eraser wheel will probably do it.

Laytex paint does not like heat......the eraser wheel IMHO might be a little difficult to control and cause damage before you can realize it.....

That is actually Kerosene (Mineral Spirits) and might be very effective as well

Never tired it, but I think Mothers R3 Racing Rubber Remover is what you need.
