I just recently purchased a 1997 F250 Super Duty. It has 199,040 miles on it and everything seems to work. however this morning when I left for work it stalled on Me on the way out of the neighborhood. I turned it over numerous times and began to get white smoke but it didn't start. It has oil pressure, the tack is moving when I turn it over, the fuel heater is good, and the batteries are good.

 

IPR might have stuck.

 

This might be a stupid Q bt since you said you just aquired it Did you by any chance fill it with gassoline? Its happen numerous of times at work with new drivers driving the dirsel trucks.

 

No sir. I filled it up yesterday. And there are no stupid questions

 

Any chance the fuel was contaminated?

 

It was a faulty Super Chip installed by the previous owner
