Hey from Okc, the weather is warming up, let's see your rides and projects!!

Hey everyone, I haven't posted in awhile, but I'm still wrenchin' on Fords. Here is the latest project I'm working on for a buddy. Keep an eye out for it at any OU home games!! It's a 64 Econoline van. It had an abused 289 with a rebuilt C4. We are swapping a crate 302 in it currently. It's a pretty cool tailgater he picked up at auction for $3200 with title and tag.

My projects are in all sorts of stages. The Mach 1 is all tore apart waiting for new rear frame rails and suspension. The rust bucket mustang is together but fighting all kinds of issues when we get to the track. Hopefully this weekend it will run a little better. My brothers jet boat needs a new motor. The old truck is about the only thing running right now.

I'm working on all kinds of ford powered stuff at work. I will get some pictures of the stuff in the shop. Some with some serious HP.

a few things I worked on this week in the shop

this is a 3v 4.6 mustang that threw a rod. it now has a new motor with a novi 2200 blower. made 475 to the tire and we backed the timing out were it makes about 450hp to the tire. they decided to buy a crate motor which has stock rods or this motor would make about 550hp

the bottom car is the shop owned 2015 mustang, its got 4000 miles on it and we ruined it. its completely gutted no interior and no ac, heat or anything not needed for drag racing. winter up grades were a new converter, k member, front brakes and some timing chain upgrades. I hope to have it running next week. the upper car is a 98 cobra for a fresh motor, new turbo kit and a whole host of suspension parts.

2011 mustang in for nitrous install, it make 570'shp with a 100 shot of spray.

this is a coyote motor in a fox body mustang with a d1 procharger. it makes 630hp to the tire and has more in it but also has a stock rod so we cannot lean on it too hard

JW - You are one busy guy!

What I'm supposed to be working on is Dad's truck, as shown below, as I got the body and frame back from the body/paint shop. But what I'm really doing is getting the boat ready for the summer, with a complete redo on battery cables, placement, isolator, etc. Plus some tuning on the stereo inc the 12" Kicker, and snap replacement.

Anyway, here's Dad's truck just home. The transfer case (BW1356) is completely redone and painted, and the tranny (ZF5) is completely redone but not yet painted. Have to build the engine, do the wiring, and gradually build a better-than-new truck.

Spending time with my son since he moved back to Oklahoma. Working on the L/H wing of his aircraft. Checking fit of the fuel tank on to the wing.

Getting the OU tailgater ready for this Saturday's game!! The 302 crate motor runs like a champ. Had some issues with electrical relays getting too hot inside the doghouse, so im relocating everything (relays, solenoid, and coil) under the tv cabinet behind the batterys. We tried putting some 20"s that the owner had laying around. Looks pretty good, and with a little fudging here and there, they will fit.
