Member 241 intro, a diesel guy

I originally posted in the BS thread before I changed my 'location' from CA to WA. I'm going to try to start fresh.
Me, I moved from CA in Jan to start a new job for Century tel. I'm originally from Albany, OR and hope to get a job transfer to Vancouver/Camas area as soon as I can. I am a medium duty diesel performance guy. Meaning, hot rodding the DT466, Cummins 8.3, Cat 3208, and Ford 6.6 & 7.8. It's great when an F700 that's able to keep up with a chipped F250. I dabble in the pickup diesels a little too, but not as much.
The Ford truck I use is a reasonably modded 67 F100.Used to be my daily driver for 8 years with manual steer, no radio, and non-power assist drums on all 4. The big six has a 274*/.518" cam, GM rockers, Offy C intake, Edelbrock 500 carb, Headdder with dual 2" & glasspax (lead sled sound), recurved Duraspark powered by MSD box and coil.
The truck has a 3G alternator conversion. KC Daylighters H4 headlight conversion with relays. Hydrobooost setup is totally amazing. Started with a Saginaw PS pump from an 81 E150. The hydro and master unit is from a 95 Astro van. I got the hoses & fittings from Summit, so I can make my own. Then, it has a disc conversion from a 75 F100, using Powerstop rotors and stock rear drum setup. All the suspension is poly bushings. Added a sway bar a few months back, which was great.
Inside is pretty basic. I took off the dash pad, and added a radio in place of the radio delete plate. I have an AC setup I got off ebay, but havent got around to that install yet. Body mods are replacement panels from an F250 I bought for $250 from an FTE member. The 2 tone parts.

Good stuff. Where is the F700 pictures. Those trucks are awesome. Love seeing the crew cab 4 wheel drive versions especially.

Add you name on the Washington roll call list if you haven't, just use the same format as everyone else.

Those are the older 4 hole nozzles. I have since been only dealing in the "upgraded" 5 holes(480hp), which smoke a little less. This truck has been fine tuned since then too. It's actually running pretty clean.

Nope, that's not mine. I'm the reason he has the marine injectors, #0 fuel plate, and big turbo.

No. It's a customer rig. I was just giving that example as the type of trucks I like to hot rod.

Ah, I know what the F700's are. Do you follow Backwoods thread? Seen Rocky's old build?

Rocky was a Canadian with a 4x4 Crew Cab in the Expedition section. He sold the truck and took his custom camper and placed on a newer body F650.

I don't have a login there, just browse.
