Well you never know until you ask someone who has done it, I guess? Lol but like you said it won't hurt anything either! The one on the other column, they cut with a sawzall or a grinder so i will have to cut it out, with a cut off wheel myself the rest of the way out! Which stinks! Also i hope i don't damage the bushing cause, I cant seem to find a replacement, yet! Thanks again tjc!!!!!

mehh. ya gots to figure some things out yourself!!
before you toss the old column, take the blinker switch out.
you should be able to unpin the connector at the bottom of the column, then you can pull the wires out of the column with the switch. there are three screws holding the switch in after you remove the steering wheel.
once you have the good switch out of the old column, pull the steering wheel off the new column. remove the three screws, and pull the bad switch up a bit. cut the wires off the switch, and tape the ends of the good switch to the cut wires. now go under the dash and slowly pull the wires through the column while feeding them in through the top. once the new wires are through the column, screw the new switch in, put the wheel back on, and using the old cut wires for reference, repin the plug. then plug it in a d you will have working turn signals again.
with ba eer break this is only a 45 minute job.

Thanks brother! I have replaced the switch before lol! In the column i took out. Only then! Drew a picture of the connector at the bottom of the column and marked the wires that way. I never thought of cutting the old wires and using the old plug for reference! In a switch im not going to use any way! Thanks again tjc!!!!
