Just be prepared to spend $2000 on a ZF6. You also need the NV t-case to go with it.

Adapter plate for it is another $900

Yea that's what I was worried about. Does find a 93 International with a s 7 speed behind it guy wants 2000 but it has three 348826 miles

Ok I see the 4r100 is rated for 1000lb ft what is yall opinion on this transmission and how much horsepower would a dt have at 1000 there's fue for sale near me and a place down the road the builds for hight tq I would still need adapter and probably a harness aswell

The 4R100 is the same trans as a E4OD, just a little different electronics to run it.
They can be BUILT to handle an insane amount of power

Ok I just got all my founds together and I'm gona start moving on this now the more I read I can see $$$ is gona be really tight at least for the start so I'm going to have to find the cheapest option for a trans to get this thing on the road that way I have more money for the odd things

The cheapest way would be the allison or a 7 speed, but then that would leave you with a HUGE body lift or tunneling the floor.

Just do it RIGHT and do it ONCE

I completely agree with doing it right the first time but you know. As far as tunnel ing for the tranny I am okay with that because I plan on putting a custom center console don't know if that sounds stupid or not but I think it would look cool

i cant remember if a trans off a dt466 will bolt right up or not any help there ?

it depends. There are 3 different patterns. SAE 1, 2 and 3

thats what i thought thanx brad guy at d's u pull it said he has a dt360 running frame cut for sale and said i can have my choice of a trans out of what they have for 2000 sounds like a good deal. that way i dont need to deal with getting a bus to scrap yard that sound like a ok deal?

I typically pay 4-500 for running DTs

ALRIGHT i forgot about this thread i have finally got a 1991 dta360 it has 200k and runs very well time to get started
