Torque Pro IAT pid

Wishing to add IAT to my guage set.
so far I have found ambient air, IAT2 and intake temperature.
They all show up as Celsius.
Do I need to make a PID for Fahrenheit?
IF so what are the inputs and formula?

PS, not hooked up to the truck. Just working at my desk.

Under settings, choose units and make sure Celsius isn't checked.

Go into Settings/Units and you should change it to use: Miles, not Celsius, PSI, etc...

The Intake Temp is pre-EGR (IAT) and the IAT2 is post EGR, that's how they know if you've disabled the EGR -- but I do watch them both, I just wish I'd kept track more before I changed out my EGR cooler to the bullet proof style...

You did load the Ford PID set...?

I did that first thing. No joy.
I looked at the pids themselves and they are all labeled and set up for C.
I do not see a IAT on either list.

If push comes to shove would one of you look at the IAT pid file you have and give me the inputs?. I will just make one if need be.

It's not on mine either. Can you post the actual parameters for it?

Are you saying when you try to add a display, it isn't in the list of options to add? In my screen shot you can see it just above Intake Manifold Pressure.

When did you download the Torque Pro app? Try uninstalling it and downloading it again. What kind of Android device are you using?

Other than deleting the app. Not sure what is meant by remove everything from the app. Everything functions fine. Just need a snap shot of the IAT pid and the EGB pid and I can add them manually. Thanks for the help.

I assume that is EBP you want? Here you go:

EBP
PID = 221445
Long Name = Exhaust Back Pressure
Short name = EBP
Min value = 0.0
Max vakue = 100.0
Scale Factor = x1
Unit type = psi
Equation = (((A*256)+B)*0.03625)
OBD Header = Auto

I couldn't find the IAT to get you that -- This was under settings/manage extra PIDs/Sensors

See if you can create it and if it works. I'll keep looking for IAT...

I did some hunting around and so far the only interesting tidbit I found is that Intake Air Temperature is part of the Standard Set of ODBII PIDs. So, am wondering: are you running a programmer or anything that might affect standard smog stuff?

I'm sure with more digging we can find the set-up for IAT, but I have to sign off for the day, maybe someone else will be able to jump in.

One final thought: Since this is a standard ODBII PID, why don't you do some searching on the Torque Forum and see if you can find the PID entry info. there?
