New Escape for an old Escape Owner

Just picked up my new 2016 Escape. I had an '02 and the trans gave out at 235k. I couldn't justify the money various shops quoted me to keep it on the road, so I used that money as part of a down payment for a new one.

Its an SE 2.0L EB with Convenience package, cold weather package, and the nav upgrade. This one had one mile on the odo

I was initially looking at the Titanium, but I couldn't justify the extra cost per month for things that were only "wants" rather than "needs".

I'm very impressed at the 2.0L EB, it is much more responsive than the old V6 (and much much more so than my Xterra straight 6)

Steering and suspension is much tighter and more responsive than the old '02 also.

Anyway, the wife and I are pretty happy with it so far. Year 14 of being an Escape owner
