How to remove an unknown program
Please help.
I bought my 07 F350 in November and I am having the egr delete done now and new Edge Juice W/Attitude programmer installed. The shop said that when they are trying to run the truck my Edge is saying there is already a program in the computer. I had no knowledge this was there and did not get the old programmer with the vehicle. Is there any way to remove the old program without having it towed to a FORD dealer to be wiped clean then towed back to the other shop to finish the Edge programmer tuning?

Yep. Pack the PCM and the FICM up and ship them off to Ed and
he can wipe the both and make sure that your stock. You could
also have him put a nice FICM tune on while it there along with
other upgrades.
FICMRepair.com - FORD Powerstroke 6.0 FICM Repair, PHP Tuning and Truck Parts
BTW if you don't see an item on the site just drop them a note
from the About Us page with the Contact Us form.

Re: the Edge tuner, please do consider going with an SCT over the Edge. It is well documented that the SCT is the better choice for a myriad of reasons, one of which is its support for custom tunes that can be loaded on it in addition to the 'canned' tunes that just come with it. We can provide you those as can a slew of other sources. Each tune supplier of course has their own secret sauce, lol.

Dang Mike, I really wish I had set up my account here sooner but unfortunately I had already bought the Edge tuner and its installed now too. I just heard the shop had it to the dealer to wipe it back to stock and its up and running again finally. I will definitely check for suggestions before I buy more mods again now that I have all of this knowledge and support.

If you plan on having the PCM reflashed by Ed, consider using either of these PCM codes:
PCM: VXCF4HB
TCM: TQCJ0H2
PCM: VXCF4X3
TCM: TQCJ0W2
PCM: VXCF4H2
TCM: TQCJ0H3
The above strategies were originally paired with the FICM calibration of AMZ2AL12, a non-inductive heating flash; however, they will run awesome with the Atlas 40 stock or tuned.
