Quick ATF Change Question

Planning on changing out my ATF this weekend following the procedures by Mark Kovalsky (Changing ATF Fluid in a E4OD and 4R100 transmission - Ford-Trucks.com).

On my dad's advice (who was a big rig diesel mechanic for over 30 years) I've always drained my oil with the engine at least warm. Sometimes I'll do it as warm as operating temperature if I'm careful. Anyhow, is it a good idea to have the transmission slightly warm, >100F, for the same reasons?

It doesn't matter either way.

That answer is good enough for me, thanks Mark.
