One heck of a line-up. Josh, whats your take on all the colors after spending a few days with them? Maybe give us a top 3? Or 5

Yes, but since Reese makes it for Ford, by the time the 17's are delivered with it from the factory, it will also be available to the aftermarket as a Reese branded part.

Yes, I realize that. The factory Ford prep setup IS Reese Elite with a different sticker on it. Reese manufactures it for Ford. So, why pay Ford more to stick their sticker on it and mark the price up? Get the exact same product for less from anywhere but a Ford dealer.

Might have missed it, but did you happen to get the height of the 350 DRW? Also, do you think the trucks appear to sag as much as the previous models when hooked up to a load? Looking at videos they don't appear to sag as much loaded, wondering what they did to stop that but not change the ride quality.

Then you have to drill holes and lift the bed and what not. I've never even heard of someone trying to install the prep package aftermarket.

Number 1, it's installed aftermarket all the time. It's a very popular upgrade for trucks that didn't come with it. Number 2 , is petei ordered a truck where the factory prep wasn't available so he has to install it aftermarket. Whether it has a Ford sticker it or Reese, he's starting from scratch. So, yes, he will be lifting his bed and drilling holes in it.

Are you sure it was available in 2011? I helped my dad build his truck and I would have had him go with the widetrack if it were available.

I remember now, cause he couldn't order it. I've never seen anyone install the reese elite. If it didn't have ford prep every single one Ive seen went standard rail route. Is there any real advantage other than flush floor? and is there an adapter or something for a GN?

The Reese Elite (identical as the Ford prep because Reese make the Ford prep) comes with center gooseneck puck as well. Flush floor is the key. Like I said, it's sold on any number of websites.

Yes, the HD tow package included the 4.30 gears and widetrack front axle on all the current generation DRW 350 (2011-2016) trucks.

I found the elite 5th wheel but it doesn't have a GN. is that a separate kit that attaches/interlocks?

Nevermind, found the it, the GN plate bolts in separately or buy the whole kit under the GN section
