so haven't been able to work anymore on my 83 been busy with work and dad is buying my part out of the 95 bronco (I would love to keep it but 2 projects is enough for me) so I can use the money as a down payment for a daily driver more fuel effiecent (14-20mpg would be more effiecent to me LOL) vehicle so been trying to find something my bank will approve which is being a pain in the rear. I think I have 2 vehicles that might work will see Tuesday what they say still have to look at one of them.
Anyways I did talk to my cousin and he said to put the hydraulic clutch in his 83 he had to drill the firewall and use a 84+s firewall reinforcement since the hydraulic clutch will wear out the metal right there. I did some research and it looks like that is true so I am probably going to stay C6 auto. If I had more confidence in my fab skills and had better tools for that type of stuff I would do the swap.
Also while looking at one of the cars I liked the owner showed me his ramcharger that they spray-in-linered the floor behind the front seats. I liked it a lot so going to spray in liner from behind the front seats back floor and front will be vinyl floors. I wonder if a regular cab Fseries vinyl floor will would be the same.

Well a few updates on the 2 broncos:
Picked up a bezel and grille that aren't broken for $5 and they are chrome but the grille is peeling a bit so probably will paint it black for my 83 bronco.
I haven't had the chance to proceed with paint but I had some buddies of mine talk me into going a brown again with tan interior I just couldn't picture it but one of them did a quick photoshop (didn't save it) on his computer with the wheels and brown that I did like and it looks great.
I will paint the truck one color brown sugar metallic brown and just make it a hair darker in a few key areas that I want then I will have somebody pinstripe it in a little lighter brownish tan in a nice custom pin striping.
The interior I will just freshen up but still spray in liner the floor board from behind the front seat back and vinyl flooring up front. No wood grain either.
I decided to keep the grays and blacks for my diesel truck once I finish the bronco.
The 91 we added some lights to the brush guard and got some more of the rattles inside the truck fixed.

The other day we pulled the old battery out and installed a new one. We also put in some new used OBS bronco seats that we picked up for $60 up front. They aren't ripped and are more comfortable. They also don't fall back when you hit the gas. LOL
The old ones I am going to install with seat covers in the 89 F250 we use around the ranch to haul water with and take the seats that are in there and install them in my 83 bronco. Those seats aren't ripped at all and they are tan already all I need to do is install it on my brackets.

Started pulling the only two dents in my 83. Fairly easy fixes only one up by the grill and other from the tire gate. I am working on getting the body perfect cause I changed my mind again on paint color. I don't want to do such an expensive metallic color that will get all scratched up so going black as it is cheaper and I have always wanted a black truck since I have my white truck and silver truck.
Also the 91 started a top end knocking noise so got to tear into the engine now.

Found out that the 91 had an exhaust leak from manifolds so new headers are the project.
Tinted the turns and side light for the 83 bronco. Also started painting the inside of the headlights trim black.
New headlights are mounted in the buckets.
Can't wait to get the truck painted and back together going to be beautiful.
