I recently purchased a 2004 fx4 f150, im trying to put the stock fx4 rims back on but the lug nuts are too long. They measure about an inch and 5/8 long, it looks they would have to be 1 1/4" long to work with the center caps. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

 

Stop at your friendly neighborhood auto parts store and get the OE lugnuts . They will have them listed.

Or your local Ford dealer would have also.

 

I've tried seems their too long also.

 

I don't understand how a nut can be " too long".... to long for what ?

 

I found the problem, the lugs the previous owner had on were not right, I found what I needed. I had capped lugnuts not the lugnuts I needed. ordered some from ebay and will be in business soon.

 

I have the same problem and the Lugnuts are to long and the caps want fit with the long nuts.
