6.2 e85 mpg vs 87 vs 87 pure gas (no ethanol)

I just bought a used f250 CCLB with 28k miles on it. I have been toying with the MPG on different fuel and I'm wondering what others are seeing.

e85 hand calculated 10.8 $1.36
premium 91 no ethanol hand calculated 11.1 $2.24
87 50/50 highway/city 11 $1.99
87 octane 450 miles round trip 12.8
87 pure gas. Have not found that yet

I have found my computer to be spot on with my hand calculations. I am impressed with that.

I only have 5k miles clocked in, but I have tried 92 and 87 each for a few tanks. I have not noticed any noticeable difference so I am back to 87. Now I am playing with my 87 daily and 87 performance tune from 5star. As of now, I can't really notice any real difference there either.
I run about 25 miles a day for work. About 50/50 rural back road and city. I pretty much get 11. I figure at least 12 when winter fuel goes away.

I actually found that I get better mpg with 87 and 10% ethanol, than 91 and 10%.
Not sure why, never tried pure gas in the truck it's too expensive

I have run 100%. We have several stations around here with it. It's the only thing I run in Mustang.

I did find the milage was a little better tha normal. I can see between 12 and 13 a tank, depending on my driving for work. But it's at best a .5 to .75 mpg better if I recall correctly.

For me there is not enough improvement to pay the premium price all the time. Now I will buy a tank every once in a while to let it run without the ethonol. Say one in every 5 tanks. So it works out to a couple of times every oil cycle

I think that for me E85 makes the most sense. it is 70 cents cheaper a gallon here and i don't see but 1.5 mpg less with it.

When getting gas do you click it on the fast or slow I have always wondered if either "gives" you a little more
