The 1993 would be a slightly easier swap since it shares the same remote TFI module as your 1992. You could use the 1988, but you would need to swap distributors.
I think 1994 was the first year for a roller cam in the truck 5L engines. Someone else can confirm. If that's the case the 1988 donor would work without swapping the gear on the end of the distributor.

Otherwise the '93 is the best candidate.. it's the exact same motor.
