which model fit a 7.3

Hi, I would like to know if my 1997 7.3 diesel powerstroke can fit in a 1986 Ford RV wich is made on a 350. If not, which year do I have to look for the RV ? thanks

It'll fit. You'll need all the under hood/in cab wiring harnesses, pcm, idm, speedometer, trans swap over fuel system depending which motor is in the even now. You could also simplify it by doing a 7.3 turbo IDI

thanks and will I have to take the transmission too ? or I can leave the old one ?

If you have a gas engine in the RV now, you will need the tranny that is with the diesel engine. In 92 They changed the feed for the speedometer from the tranny to the rear axle differential.
