I've been driving Ford trucks sense the mid 70's . I just picked up this '10 at a wrecking yard with a salvage title. I've put new Headlights, Mirrors, Wheels and tires on it. I'm looking for fenders, My biggest question is why do the prices range from $165. to over $350 for the fenders? There cant be that many places stamping out the parts. Also dose any one have a good place to buy body parts? Thanks Scott

The cheaper body parts are typically stamped in China or another overseas stamping plant. Have you done a search for used body parts in another yard?

As for salvage titles, do your homework and make sure all is OK with your insurance provider.

 

I'll have to get the truck inspected by the sheriffs dept. .But for the price I don't think I can lose.
