So my 2000 does not have factory fog lights but it does have the fog light switch on the headlight switch. Does anyone know if the wiring for fog lights are still up front near the bumper and if so would they be wired hot? I want to add a 18" lightbar in the lower opening and thought it would be cool if I could use the factory switch. Thanks for any help!!

 

If the headlight switch has provisions for fog lights, there's a good chance the plug is located somewhere behind your front bumper, likely hanging near where the fogs would mount. You should be fine tying a lightbar in - it would be lower amp draw than any halogen fog light. Find the plug, turn your switch so as to "turn on" your fogs, and check the wires with a test light or multi meter to identify power vs ground, then get to installing!
