Cool 1997 7.3 acceleration problem

Alright, so i had another thread on here about a problem with my 1997 f250 7.3. first off, its a 97 automatic with 150k miles. the truck originally had a ts 6 position chip but i took it out tonight to see if my problem would be gone, but it still happened.

so here is my problem, coming from a stop sometimes (and i mean its completely random when it happens) my truck will have a problem accelerating. when i press the gas, the truck will take off very slow and when i put my foot into it, i will see the rpms jump to 2k but the truck still wont accelerate any faster. eventually the truck wiill kick in and drive normal. this problem doesnt exist at cruising speeds, just upon acceleration. so the ts 6 position chip wasnt my problem and now i will be reinstalling it.

my transmission fluid is a little brown and has a burnt smell to it but its not bad and its operates at about 160 degrees. so i will be doing a flush but i dont know if thats my problem. i also replaced my fuel filter tonight my icp sensor. any suggestions?

Thats the reason the e4od trannys got a bad rep, due to neglected service, do a fluid exchange asap before it completly gives out.

Flush it and put some new fluid in it if it still does the same thing then yes there's a fine line with it being wasted and still good just don't drive it anymore until you flush it and if you do drive it don't floor it to get it moving you're just making the problem worse
