Lizardskin interior sprayed

I have used various other sound deadening products. The expensive Dynamat and the not so expensive stuff. One of the things I have always been bothered with is how to finish off the inside of a cab in those areas that matter, but don't show. I don't want to waste expensive paint and labor without any real benefit. So on this project for our customer we sprayed Lizardskin sound deadening coating in all the areas that get covered. It really helped black out these areas, tighten up the steel and make it rattle proof. So far I'm a fan. Check out the pictures and give me your thoughts. It seems to be really good stuff. We really try hard to give our customers all the options and some expertise along with it.

Looks good. I plan on using reflex which is a Line-X like product so this gives a good idea as to what it would look like.

I would think it's the thickness of a credit card. I put on 3 light to medium coats.

Jason, I follow you on instagram. you do awesome work with these trucks and the coyotes motors.
A have heard car people swear by the lizard skin. Which did you spray first, the skin or the paint?

There was a debate on what to spray first. We actually did all the paint, then sprayed the Lizardskin last. We masked pretty well. The thought was having to wetsand the primer before paint over the lizardskin and losing the clean black look. We opted for masking. We like the way it turned out, nice and clean.
